I LOVE PUSH-UPS!
Let me say that again, I LOVE PUSH-UPS!!!
One thing we do at my gym is a LOT of push-ups. I think it’s one of the best upper body exercises, period.
Another thing we do with all of our programs is daily challenges. Every day we post random challenges for our programs so that throughout the day you can get little “mini workouts” in that take about a minute. In doing this, you get little metabolic spikes that help you burn fat, build muscle and overall just make you feel better.
With our programs at HWTC, we always do fitness tests to see how many reps of an exercise we can do in 1, 2, 3 or 4 minutes.
This is a FANTASTIC way to test yourself both physically & mentally, without always having to lift really heavy weights between 3-5 reps.
These little 1-minute challenges are also great for a little re-charge when you feel tired.
Here is my 1-minute push-up test. I think I got 70 push-ups.
