3 Tips To Running A Kick Butt Boot Camp Workout
There is no denying that Boot Camp & big group workouts are here to stay.
Over the last few years boot camps and big group workouts have flourished and for good reasons. It’s a great way to impact a lot of people for generally a good price.
But with more boot camps comes more competition.
So how do you stand out from the rest?
What would make a potential member chose your boot camp over the competitions?
Here Are 3 Essentials For A Successful Boot Camp Program
1. It has to be FUN.
This is by far the #1 thing for growing your boot camp. All to often us as coaches and personal trainers analyze technique, we think about the exercises, we analyze things to pieces.
Come the end of the day the person in your boot camp wants one thing and one thing only. To have a good time.
Yes they want to get in shape, yes they want to lose fat and move better, but they won’t stay very log if they are not having a good time.
Make your boot camp FUN.
2. Bring Energy
I don’t care if it’s 6AM or 9PM come the end of the day it’s up to you as the coach/trainer to bring energy. Treat every class like it’s your first class and always make it a point to bring your best.
I am not a high energy person, but I know that when I show up to coach my boot camp classes that I have to BRING IT. The more energy I can bring the more I can get back.
We all have off days, we all have personal and life stress, we all have our own stuff to deal with. Leave that at the door and give your clients and your group the best energy possible.
Make your boot camp the best hour of their day and they will want to come back again and again.
3. Create Community
One of the biggest overlooked parts of fitness and long term fitness success for your clients is the importance of community.
Create a culture where everyone knows your name. Have your clients become friends, have them get workout partners, have them get accountability partners.
Building a community for your boot camp is important to build a long lasting relationship with your members.
