			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>A few months ago I used to do a &#8220;Facebook Fitness QnA&#8221; where I would take 30 min and have people like you ask any questions on Fitness, Training, Supplements, Fat Loss etc.</p>
<p>I would do this on Facebook every day for 30 min for free.</p>
<p>It was pretty simple concept and it worked big time.</p>
<p>Then I got really busy opening up my gym Heavyweights Training Center and I stopped doing it.</p>
<p>Now that my gym is up and running (and it&#8217;s freakin awesome might I add. Video tour coming very soon), I wanted to get my Facebook Fitness QnA going again.</p>
<p>I will do this if I get 50 &#8220;Likes&#8221; on this blog post.</p>
<p>So hit the &#8220;Like&#8221; button and even better leave a comment below with any feedback or questions as I would love to hear from you.</p>
<p>Bottom line is I tell it like it is, I don&#8217;t BS, I don&#8217;t sugar coat, and I am always as helpful as I can be.</p>
<p>So&#8230;.How about hitting the &#8220;Like&#8221; button now and once I get to 50 I will start up my Facebook Fitness QnA again!</p>

<p>I love to blog, and I love to help people, so I figured a new &amp; improved blog would be a great start to what I plan to be some very big things in the near future.</p>
<p>With my blog I plan to really open up everything I know and &#8220;Pay It Forward&#8221; so to speak.</p>
<p>I plan to offer nothing but  the best information on Training, Nutrition, Supplements, Physique Transformation, but I also plan to really open things up both personally &amp; business wise.</p>
<p>I am very passionate about my business and it is not something I talk about much.  However as my business grows I see more and more people who may want to start their own business and follow their passion (as I have done), and many others who are running a business and have no clue on what to do to improve their business.</p>

<p>I started my Fitness Business with $200 in cash and an mail order catalog I made with an excel spreadsheet.  From there it has been a roller coaster ride!</p>
<p>I have literally helped THOUSANDS of people in their Fitness Journey, whether to get them Bigger, Stronger, Faster, More Athletic, More Confident, you name it, I have helped people with it.</p>
<p>So with RobKingFitness I wanted to open the curtain on how to live a BETTER LIFE.</p>
<p>I plan to share with you everything I know that has made my life better in hopes that my knowledge &amp; experiences can improve Your Health, Your Fitness, &amp; Your Lifestyle.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Happy Thanksgiving to all my Canadian readers, and if your not Canadian well Happy Thanksgiving anyways!</p>
<p>More often than not we never take the time to stop and appreciate all that we have so I am going to do this right now.  Because I am beyond grateful for all that I have in my life and the amazing people around me.</p>
<p>So here is my list of big things I am thankful for.  I could write a book on this, but here are my top ones.</p>
<p>I am grateful for my health.  Without this nothing else really matters.  The days of abusing and treating my body like garbage are long gone.  Without my body &amp; my health I have nothing, so I am grateful to be have my health. If you spend more money on your car, your house, and material stuff than &#8220;investing&#8221; in yourself (Mind and Body), you may want to re-think your decisions.  You can buy another house, another car, your body is yours, treasure it.</p>

<p>I am grateful for an amazing, awesome, intelligent, hard working girlfriend Danielle.  How she puts up with my ADD, my quirks,  my work addiction, and of course my eccentric nature, I am truly grateful.</p>

<p>I am grateful to have a business where I can work all day yet not work at all.  My work is my passion and I love every minute of it.  Everyone always sees the good, they never see the bad, the struggles, the hardships, but it&#8217;s all part of it.  I am grateful to have a business where I am changing lives and making people&#8217;s lives better.  There is no other business I would rather be in, and no amount of money that would make me do anything different than what I do right now, I am truly grateful.</p>

<p>I am grateful for my amazing staff and the great people involved in my business.  My business is not me, it is a handful of amazing people that go above and beyond what is expected of them.  Without you guys there would be no business, I am truly grateful.</p>

<p>I am grateful for my amazing HWTC members &amp; HW Store customers.  When I get texts and emails and messages about your success&#8217;s it makes all the stresses and struggles I have gone through to create my business worthwhile. Sometimes you have to go through hell to get to heaven, well my clients and seeing their victories is my version of heaven.  I love you all and it was only two short years ago where I almost closed my gym and was ready to walk away, I am glad I never &#8220;gave up&#8221; on my passion and followed my heart and listening to the right people.  I am truly grateful.</p>

<p>I am grateful for the few, but close friends that I have.  There are not many people you can count on in this world, but I am grateful to know that you don&#8217;t need thousands of friends, you just need a few quality ones.  The last few years I have had many &#8220;Friends&#8221; show their true colors, but I have also had true friends continue to show theirs.  To my best friends I am truly grateful for you guys, more than you can ever know.</p>

<p>I am grateful for my extended family of fur balls that drive us crazy on a daily basis.  Our 4 dogs and 2 cats may drive us crazy most of the day but I love every minute of it. When I come home every day it&#8217;s like Christmas to them, and that is an amazing feeling.</p>

<p>I am grateful for my freedom.  We live in a free society but most of us aren&#8217;t &#8220;free&#8221;.  I have had to work damn hard to create a life I enjoy and I am really grateful for it. I am grateful for my ability to travel, to see the world, to meet great &amp; influential people that have made my life, my business, and my existence  better.  The world is bigger than your bubble, get outside of it, it&#8217;s a great feeling. Get comfortable being uncomfortable.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>I just spent the weekend in Shererville Indiana with my good friend and Heavyweights Training Center head trainer Gill Whelan studying under one of the top coaches in the world, Martin Rooney.</p>
<p>Martin Rooney is an internationally recognized pioneer of strength and conditioning for the martial arts. He holds a Master of Health Science and Bachelor of Physical Therapy from the Medical University of South Carolina. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in Exercise Science from Furman University.</p>
<p>Oh he is also the coach for &#8220;The Gracie&#8217;s&#8221; and was the personal coach to the Prince of Abu Dhabi, hey no big deal <img src='http://www.robkingfitness.com/wp-includes/images/smilies/icon_smile.gif' alt=':)' class='wp-smiley' /> </p>
<p>I decided a few weeks back that it was time to &#8220;Up My Game&#8221; as a trainer &amp; coach.  It is always easy to stay the same and not invest in yourself, however that is not my philosophy and my goal is to ALWAYS improve and ALWAYS learn more and never stand still.</p>
<p>Enter Martin Rooney.</p>
<p>I have been following Martin&#8217;s writing and philosophy for a while now.  I may have been one of the first people to purchase his &#8220;Training For Warriors&#8221; DVD series and book.  I always believe in investing in myself.  My books and training DVD&#8217;s come before me buying clothing, going to see movies and so on.</p>
<p>As well I attended a <a title="Seattle Perform Better Seminar" href="http://robkingfitness.com/cool-experiences/seattle-perform-better-seminar">Perform Better Seminar in Seattle</a> a few months ago and Martin was a presenter. One of my best blog posts ever was written about training under him and how to &#8220;<a title="Be Extraordinary!" href="http://robkingfitness.com/mind-set/be-extraordinary">Be Extraordinary</a>&#8220;.</p>
<p>Without question I signed up, booked our flights, and got everything ready to go (even though I have just opened a new business and I have been working around the clock).</p>
<p><strong>Investing in my education &amp; health comes first above anything materialistic.</strong></p>
<p>Martin has been a huge influence on me so I decided to take the step and do his &#8220;Training For Warriors&#8221; Certification course.</p>
<p>It was BY FAR one of the best investments I could have made in myself for both me and my clients.</p>
<p>I thought I knew about training, I thought I understand the purpose, I thought I understood motivation.</p>
<p>Boy was I wrong.</p>
<p>The whole weekend just reminded me of this quote from <a title="The Day I Met Bruce Lee" href="http://robkingfitness.com/cool-experiences/the-day-i-met-bruce-lee">Bruce Lee</a> (and it was great to talk to Martin about Bruce Lee, that alone was worth the trip&#8221;.</p>
<p>&#8220;Before I studied the art, a punch to me was just like a punch, a kick just like a kick. After I learned the art, a punch was no longer a punch, a kick no longer a kick. Now that I&#8217;ve understood the art, a punch is just like a punch, a kick just like a kick.&#8221; &#8211; Bruce Lee</p>
<p>My level of understanding of why we do things now has changed which brings us to Rooney Rule #1.</p>
<p><strong>Rooney Rule #1 &#8211; We don&#8217;t do something for nothing.</strong></p>
<p>Ever wonder why you do what you in the gym?  Ever wonder why you bench the way you do, why you do things like like presses?  Have you just kinda done them because you saw someone do it, or because you read a program on some fitness magazine.  Have you ever REALLY looked at what you are doing in the gym?  Well Martin Rooney has, and his Training For Warriors System is the brain child of all his years of fitness research, training himself, training others, and always refining his system.</p>
<p>The Training For Warriors Certification went above and beyond what I expected, and I had high hopes going into this.  I learned far more than I expected, I got coached and taken out my comfort zone in more ways than one, and also I have NEVER EVER been so sore from 8 reps of  hip circle and a glute bridges.  You see there is a lot more to a rep than just moving.  This whole weekend we have lifted hardly no weights, and yet my heart rate and screaming muscles can be attributed to one thing, <strong>Martin&#8217;s AMAZING ability as a coach. </strong></p>
<p>Me blogging and writing and telling stories about it can do it no justice, all I can say is you have to attend one of his events, whether a Perform Better Seminar, Training For Warriors Certification or any of his clinics.  I can&#8217;t say enough just how awesome an experience this has been and I am DAMN PROUD To say that I am now</p>

<p>Heavyweights Fitness will bring together Heavyweights Training Center &amp; Heavyweights Supplement Store into one central location with tons of space, ease of access and of course our AMAZING staff to help in every way.</p>
<p>Heavyweights Supplements will still stay in Churchill Square, this new location gives us oppurtunity to serve both the East End &amp; Growing West End (Mt. Pearl, Paradise, CBS etc.)</p>
<p>We will be offering our incredible programs such as Ripped In 42, 21 Day Rapid Fat Loss (Soon to be called Ripped In 21) and our Fat Loss Conditioning Classes.</p>

<p>One thing I always loved about Super Hero&#8217;s was their physiques.  I was a huge fan of freakish muscle and strength, I wasn&#8217;t big into Super Powers because well that was kinda not fair to the normal Super Hero&#8217;s that had to work their butts off and be damn smart, hence my obsession with Batman (Yes that&#8217;s me dressed up as Batman, I generally do this weekly lol).</p>

<p>The <strong>Super Hero Workout </strong>is split into 4 phases.</p>
<ul>
<li>Phase 1 is power based, with some muscle building (Thor for inspiration).</li>
<li>Phase 2 is more agility, conditioning and the like (think Spiderman workout and Batman).</li>
<li>Phase 3 is pure mass (inspired by the Hulk workout–don’t worry ladies, he has something for you as well).</li>
<li>Phase 4 is more of a combination, so little bit of everything. More for “all around” heros like Super Man.</li>

<p>He may even include some TRX workouts that he may call “Web-Slinger Suspension Training”.</p>
