It’s been a hard week for my family.
My Dad passed on Tuesday.
His name was Ches King.
He was a great man.
I could never have asked for better.
He will be missed, but never forgotten.
Thank you to everyone that messaged us, posted, came for the visitation or sent their condolences.
We really appreciate it.
You were always there for me and our big family (Charmaine, Ches, Art, George, Kathy & David).
You and mom were the strongest people I have ever met.
I only wish someday I can be as strong as you were and to be as great a dad as you were.
Every weekend for every hockey game, for every practice bright and early you were there.
For every martial arts class when I was a kid you were there.
When I was a skate boarder with bangs, earrings, chuck taylors and a skater or die attitude your supported me. You even let me put a Skater sticker on your car :).
When I started lifting weights and BodyBuilding you always showed my pics of me competing with pride.
I went to PowerLifting Worlds in Texas a few months ago, I could barely squat. I was in agony. I saw you before I left, and all I said was that I wanted to do my BEST for you.
I brought home a medal at worlds in squats for YOU.
I wanted to make you proud.
You were the strongest person I have ever met.
You were NEVER selfish and always caring and giving.
You allowed me to do what I wanted, To find myself, to be me.
I can never thank you enough for all that you have done for me and my family.
I hope I made you proud.
You will be missed.
I love you and will always remember you.
