3 Weeks To PowerLifting Nationals



“Iron Sharpens Iron”.

It has been a GREAT week training.

Training is going great as my team and I get ready for PowerLifting Nationals in St. John’s NL the first week of April.

Heavy Weights Training Center has been on fire with energy and motivation of people training to bring their best to the platform.

Every day I am grateful for the amazing people that we have at our gym as I am a believer that you are only as good as your team and the people you surround yourself with, and for that I am very grateful.

I have never trained harder in my life than right now.

I am very grateful to be able to train hard and heavy and without pain.

This week I hit all the reps and sets in my program and some of the highlights were some big PR’s.

490 lb. Squat

 

585 lb Deadlift (Coulda locked it better but saw God and thought I was going to pass out).

 

285 lbs for 3 sets of 3 on Bench Press.

 

I have two more weeks of hard training before I do my back off week to get ready for Nationals.

I am looking forward to doing my best and leaving it all on the platform on that day.

My only competition is myself and I have some big goals that I hope to accomplish.

I love PowerLifting and I am so grateful to be able to lift Heavy Weights and compete again.

It will be an amazing week for Team HeavyWeights, Team Newfoundland and PowerLifting in Canada.
