Many years ago I knew a guy that I used to train with at the YMCA that was one of the leanest strongest and most discplined people I ever met.
To test his will power he would carry around a chocolate bar in his gym bag and not eat it.
Let’s be clear, if there is a chocolate bar in my gym bag I will eat it.
If there is a chocolate bar in my house I will eat it.
So the only way for me to NOT eat that chocolate bar is to NOT have it around me or my house :).
Here is a very simple yet effective strategy for fat loss and healthy eating.
If there is something in your house you will eat it.
Even though I have been in the fitness industry for 20 years and I have competed many times and coached thousands of people one simple thing remains.
If there is something in your house at some point more than likely you will eat it :).
So the simple fix is this, don’t have it in your house.
With all of our programs at Heavy Weights I always recommend that you purge your fridge and cupboards for anything not on your food plan.
You can either throw it out or give it away, do what you want. Just know that if you want results and if you have the wrong foods in in your house you WILL eat it.
