Yesterday with one of my athletes on bench I had her change her grip every set.
You will find a grip that feels really good.
You should use this grip most of the time, however it’s also important to change your grip often to avoid over use injuries and also to get stronger in other areas.
Something as simple as one or two fingers in variation can make a difference.
Vary your grip from wider to closer with small adjustments every set.
Keep i mind this should NOT be done when you lift heavy or are going for a single etc. This should be done in your volume work. When you are lifting for a max don’t change anything.
